This evening we got to celebrate two of my students who won 1st and 2nd place in the PTA Reflections competition, participating in the Music Composition category at Mill Creek High School. Both of them put together an awesome drum solo and wrote an artist description about how their solos represent themselves and relate to this year's Reflections theme. Along with winning at the school level they have both been selected to advance to the state level of the competition, and I can only dream that they could both be able to advance to the national level :) Congratulations guys!
