Founder & Music Instructor, Zack Boland
Zack began playing music in the middle school band and has been jamming ever since! While attending Atlanta Institute of Music and Multimedia he began teaching private drum set lessons and the rest is history! Since graduating from AIMM in '08 he has been performing, recording and teaching music in the Atlanta, Ga area.
Piano & Vocal Instructor, Nabilah Hetrick
Nabilah is an experienced performer and teacher who enjoys sharing her love of music with her students! Her teaching style involves focusing on your musical interests to keep each lesson engaging and exciting. Each student will discover their full capability and potential!
Flute & Alto Sax Instructor, Amy May-Horton
Amy has been playing the flute for 35 years. She has performed in various organizations, including the Atlanta Wind Symphony, Atlanta Concert Band, soloist for local churches, the UGA Redcoat Band, and others. Amy loves teaching more than performing; and has over 20 years of experience teaching private lessons, ensembles, and music classes. Her goal is to see her students develop new skills and techniques in an encouraging environment, and she is truly excited to be a part of their music education!
Guitar & Piano Instructor, Kevin K.
Kevin is an extraordinarily talented musician and music teacher! His ability to connect with and encourage students of all ages makes him an extremely versatile and valuable part of the ZBD team! Rock? Jazz? Blues? Heavy Metal? Music Theory? Sight Reading music notation? You can master them all and more with Mr. K and ZBD!
Drum Set Instructor, Nick Alper
Nick has had drums running through his family for generations and he is no different! He’s spent over 13 years playing and has gained much first-hand experience in performing live as well as recording. When not working or teaching, he is active in the Atlanta music scene with both of his bands (Nowhere Safe & Young Mountain). His goal is to help his students develop the ability and confidence to play drums with a focus on ear training.
Guitar, Piano, Cello, Upright Bass, and Vocal Instructor, Paul Fidero
Paul began playing cello in middle school and played into high school in the symphonic orchestra. When he was 15 years old, he began taking guitar lessons from David Poole, a guitar instructor at the Atlanta institute of Music and Multimedia (AIMM). At age 16, Paul was dual enrolled at Parkview High School and at the Atlanta Institute of Music where he studied guitar performance and improvisation. Paul was accepted into the School of Music at Georgia State University where he studied classical guitar performance under the guidance of John Sutherland as well as advanced music theory and vocal performance. He has experience writing and recording music with rock bands and has worked directly with Grammy award winning record producer, Billy Hume.
